OMI is the utility and rewards token of the VeVe digital collecting ecosystem. To stake it in OMI Unlimited, your OMI needs to be on Base, the most popular layer 2 network on Ethereum, offering security, reliability and low transaction costs. Here's how to get it there.
Where to buy OMI
OMI is listed on major centralized exchanges, including:
- Kraken
- OKX
- BingX
- Gate.io
- MEXC
It's also available through the Binance and Coinbase Web3 wallets, and it trades on Uniswap. Availability varies by country, so check which options are open to you. Our Get OMI page links to each one.
Check you have the official token
Before you send, receive or add OMI to a wallet, always check the contract address:
- OMI on Base:
0x3792dbdd07e87413247df995e692806aa13d3299 - OMI on Ethereum:
0xed35af169af46a02ee13b9d79eb57d6d68c1749e
Staking only accepts the official OMI token on Base.
Move OMI from Ethereum to Base
If your OMI is on Ethereum, bridge it to Base:
- Go to Superbridge, which moves tokens through Base's standard bridge.
- Connect the wallet that holds your OMI.
- Choose OMI, set the route to Ethereum → Base, and enter the amount.
- Confirm the transaction. You'll need a little ETH on Ethereum to pay the bridge fee.
Once it arrives, your OMI shows on Base in the same wallet. Double-check that the destination is your own address before you confirm.
Already on Base? Swap for OMI
If you hold ETH or USDC on Base, you can swap it for OMI on Uniswap. Choose OMI as the token to receive and check the address matches the official one above.
Send it to the wallet you'll stake from
When you sign in to OMI Unlimited with your VeVe account, an embedded wallet is created for you. Copy its address from the Wallet tab and send your OMI there on the Base network, or stake directly from a third-party wallet such as MetaMask that already holds your OMI.

Cryptocurrency carries risk, including total loss. OMI is a utility token, not an investment product. Always do your own research.
